Warranty Policy
All Timothy Harps
instruments are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials or
workmanship for five years from the date of purchase, and beyond
at the luthier's discretion. This warranty does not cover
the following:
-
Normal wear and tear on any part of the
instrument.
-
Set-ups, lever regulation or regular maintenance.
-
Replacement
of broken strings
-
Damage caused by accident, neglect, abuse,
aging, fire, Acts of Nature, or extremes of
temperature or humidity
-
Unauthorized
repair or damage due to the use of improper strings (such as
high-tension pedal harp strings).
-
Normal
humidity cracks in the
wood due to excessive dryness, especially in solid wood
(unveneered) soundboards.
-
Slight
'hairlines' or movement of wood joints as they 'settle in'
while the tree gets used to being
a harp.
-
Damage that
occurs during shipping (contact the shipper for a claim, as
the harp's always
shipped fully insured).
-
Lack of
merchantability, fitness for use or consequential damages
due to of loss of use
Any defective
instrument will be repaired or replaced, at the luthier's
discretion, free of charge. Clients are responsible for
any and all shipping expenses incurred in transporting harps to
and from the luthier.
Order Cancellation Policy
Orders are confirmed by payment
of a 25% deposit towards the purchase price of a specific
harp.In the event of an order cancellation, this 25% deposit is
non-refundable.
Return Policy
In exceptional circumstances,
Timothy Harps may agree to accept the return of an instrument.
For this to take place, the harp must be returned in pristine
order to Timothy Harps within 30 days of purchase.
Upon verifying the harp’s condition, Timothy Harps will make
that instrument available for resale. Once the harp has
been sold to a new client, a refund cheque will be issued to the
original client for the full value of the harp less the
non-refundable 25% deposit that was paid when the order was
placed
