Ordering Information

At Timothy Harps, we build the vast majority of our harps specifically to order, according to a client's requirements.  Once you have decided upon the model, woods, and accessories that you wish to purchase, contact us to place your order at (902) 665-3090.  Or, give us a call and we can help you consider your options -- we LOVE to talk harps!

You can secure your order and your place in our building schedule by paying a 25%, non-refundable deposit towards the purchase of your harp.  Our normal waiting list varies from 12 to 24 weeks, but we will give you an estimated date of completion for your harp when you place your order.  Please do note that this date is an estimate only, as we run a small shop, not a factory, and our schedule can be affected by such things as family emergencies, equipment repair or replacement, and hardware delivery.  However, we always make every effort to have orders completed in a timely fashion.

All prices are calculated in Canadian funds.  You are welcome to pay by Visa, Mastercard, money order, personal cheque, or good old-fashioned cash.  Harps purchased by residents of Nova Scotia will unfortunately be subject to the 13% HST tax, and merchandise sent to clients in other Canadian provinces and territories will be subject to the 5% GST .  International clients are responsible for any importation taxes which may apply to the purchase of a musical instrument.

Harps are officially covered under the provisions of  NAFTA (the North American Free Trade Agreement) so American clients may rest assured that their harps will not be subjected to duties on arrival in their home state, though they may be required to pay a small brokerage fee and/or local sales tax.
